Capsys is a Hungarian-owned, independent software development and consulting company operating since 1998. We develop business-critical, high-availability systems for clients in the banking, capital markets, and energy sectors.

We are now looking to expand our team with an IT Solution Architect who enjoys working with modern technologies on projects that deliver real business impact.

What you will be responsible for:

• Architecture design:
  Analyzing existing systems end-to-end and designing future-proof solutions. You will take part in designing database architectures (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Oracle), REST- and SOAP-based services, application integration solutions, and in designing and transforming existing systems into microservice architectures.
• Technology leadership:
  Continuous development of architectural guidelines, industry and technology standards, and development processes.
• Stakeholder collaboration:
  Acting as a bridge between the business side and development teams to ensure project success. You play a key role in translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentoring and support:
  Providing technical guidance to the team and participating in solving more complex technical challenges.
• Innovation and research:
  Contributing to the identification of optimal technological solutions through Proof of Concept (POC) development.

We are looking for you if you have:

• At least 5+ years of experience as an Architect, Tech Lead, or Lead Developer
• Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies:
  • Java ecosystem technologies, with a strong focus on Spring Boot
  • REST and SOAP
  • Oracle
  • Kafka
  • API design experience
• Required:
• Solid experience in designing microservice-based applications and high-availability, distributed systems
• The ability to analyze and implement business requirements from a technical perspective
• Experience with DevOps technologies and architecture design: Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, Talos, OpenShift
• Experience in evaluating and experimenting with new technologies (POC development)
• A team-oriented mindset, while also being able to work independently and efficiently

Nice to have:

• Experience with Redis, MariaDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL technologies
• 3+ years of Java EE lead development experience, 5+ years of Java EE application development experience
• Experience in cloud-based application design and application containerization
• Previous experience in the financial or energy sector
